About Sara Kenny
Sara is an independent valuation expert with more than 30 years’ experience in fine art and furniture. Originally from Dún Laoghaire, she is known for her specialist knowledge and confident, capable approach.
Sara began her career with auctioneers specialising in large Irish country properties, gaining experience in the management and sale of fine art, furniture, and house contents. Her flair for the sector led to a role at Christie’s in London, where she worked across all their departments. On her return to Ireland she worked closely with Christie’s on important Irish art and house contents sales, including the Lissadell and Lyrath estates. She has held longstanding roles with Hamilton & Hamilton, Hamilton Osborne King, HOK Fine Art in Blackrock and Adams. She established Sara Kenny Fine Art in 2005 with a vision to bring a client-centred, independent approach to fine art valuations and the organisation of household contents.
Sara relishes the opportunity to ease the practical and emotional burden her clients often feel when faced with a large valuation or the management of house contents. Many are unsure of what they have or where to begin. She brings structure to the process, identifying key items, establishing a clear plan and managing the steps involved.
